About the Event

On Saturday, September 18, 2021, Lambda Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (R) will host the Meet Me on the 'Virtual' Yard College Fair 2021.

Our goal is to engage, expose and encourage over 400 junior and senior high school students from DeKalb County, the Metro Atlanta area as well as diverse college students from campuses all over who are interested in graduate studies.

We ask them to consider an HBCU for a quality education and experiences that set you on a path of greatness!  Our emphasis is on providing an opportunity to learn about our historic institutions, their multidisciplinary programs and the wealth of opportunities afforded to HBCU Alumni.

The Schedule

Lambda Epsilon Omega Chapter, as a part of our International Programs for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, has a focus on education with an emphasis on historically black colleges and universities under Target 1 HBCU for life.  Join us for the Meet Me on the 'Virtual' Yard experience as we help students with awareness, skill-building, and admission preparedness.

This college fair offers workshops and seminars tailored to help educate students about the college application process and preparedness, and even includes an information panel of current HBCU attendees discussing pre and post COVID-19 campus experiences.
